Tour de ASD Athletes

ASD Athletes is a 501c3 non-profit organization and we are very excited about our debut to the general public! We need your help as much as possible to spread the word about the cause behind our charity foundation, to promote and support physical activity opportunities for the ASD community. Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are a brain disorder that affects communication skills, social skills, and learning ability. There is a wide range of athletic ability in this community and our goal is to give everyone the same opportunity to be active by providing a safe and supportive vehicle for reaching their potential.

"God has really paved the path for us to lead this kind of ministry to the community. The more I practice these values and philosophies, the more blessings ASDa receives and the more affirmed I am in our mission."

Weekend Update: Results from our first week!

This is really exciting. It feels so good to have people support our cause. In our first week, we have added 5 Twitter followers and 14 Facebook fans, plus many others who haven't quite clicked the "become a fan" link yet, but has definitely made it understood that they are. We've gotten a good response to our Boogie Down Baby Event on March 28th to celebrate our debut.

Like most Kindergartners, Ethan Franklin loves drawing, computer games, and playing tag. But, what sets Ethan apart from other children is his ability to read at two years old, to identify more than 100 species of butterflies, and to provide directions to almost anywhere in Knoxville.
